Arrival is the second piece in the Atlantean collection, an digital landscape inspired by mythic submersion and silent re-emergence. This work evokes the imagined moment a lost civilisation surfaces, bathed in deep greens and reflective aquamarines. The horizon line, soft yet distinct, suggests distant figures or ruins suspended between sea and sky—caught in the stillness before motion. The piece balances minimalist composition with colour blending, creating a meditative visual experience. Like all works in the Atlantean series, it merges physical painting with digital transformation, inviting viewers to consider memory, mystery, and the layered depths of place and time. What if the end was a beginning? What if the ones who vanished were simply waiting to arrive again?
A City sleeps beneath the Sea—
Its Spires in silence—Glow—
As if the Past had drawn a Breath
And surfaced—soft—and Slow—
No Trumpet sound—No Witness here—
Save Light upon the Shore—
Where Time forgets—yet Water holds
The Worlds that came Before.
Hand-painted canvas, scanned and converted to digitally enhanced still.
